How Equipnify handles the GDPR

Which data do we process?

Equipnify is software for equipment and member management for dive clubs and dive schools. Your club records personal data of members in it: names and contact details, plus the data needed to track loans, maintenance, inspections and tank fills. We ask for nothing more — data minimisation is the starting point.

Your club stays in control of the data

In GDPR terms, your club is the controller and Equipnify is the processor. Your club decides what happens with member data. We do not use member data for marketing and never sell it to third parties.

Where is the data stored?

All data is stored on servers within the European Union. No data is transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area.

A separate, isolated workspace per club

Every club works on its own address (yourclub.equipnify.nl) with its own, separate database. Data from different clubs is never mixed in one administration. If a club leaves, its workspace — database and all — can be removed.

Your members’ rights

• Access and correction — your club’s administrators can view and correct member data directly.
• Deletion — members who leave can be removed from the administration.
• Consents — consents are recorded per member and can be withdrawn at any time; the withdrawal is registered too.

If a member wants to know which data is on record, the club administrator can show it right away.

Agreements and questions
